Wall of Grass Concert for Alzheimer's Research

(EDT, UTC-04) (EDT, UTC-04)

Boston Harbor Distillery, 12R Ericsson St, Dorchester, MA 02122

Wall of Grass is thrilled to announce an interactive folk concert to honor our dear friend and longtime “Grasser” Stu Kimball. Stu, a 15-year veteran of Bob Dylan’s band and a founding member of the Boston dance-rock band Face to Face, is living with early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease. Funds raised from this show will benefit cutting-edge research into this disease, conducted by Stu’s team of physicians at the Massachusetts General Hospital Frontotemporal Disorders Unit (MGH FTD Unit).

Wall of Grass is an interactive folk-music collective from Boston, Mass. that performs in the spirit of contributing to the greater good, raising much-needed funds for local community service organizations. Dubbed as “Phil Spector meets Bill Monroe,” a “folkestra,” and a “folk-flash-mob,” the group plays in a big circle, often 20+ strong, in a style of music now lovingly known as “cluster-folk.” At their concerts, the group distributes songbooks and encourages concert attendees to sing, dance and clap along!

Please join Stu and his friends at the Boston Harbor Distillery on Thursday, June 27, 2024, Doors at 7:00, show at 8:00 pm. Tickets $25 in advance, $30 day of show~
